There are two giant pillers behind St. Peter’s football. First of these is the Old Peterites Football Club. Founders of this club were Rev. Fr. Joy Wickramasinghe and Rev. Fr. Travis Gabriel. This club was established in 1994, to develop the game of football in college. The pioneer leaders were Mr. Rohan Bandara and Mr. Priyankara Katugampola. Thereafter Mr. Sampath Wickramasinghe, Mr. Shehan Cooray and Mr. Mohamad Firaz served as Presidents consecutively.

Second is the Football Foundation of St. Peter’s College. Twenty years after the establishment of the Old Peterites Football Club, in the year 2014, St. Peter’s Football Foundation was established, under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Travis Gabriel and Rev. Fr. Lakmina Prasanga. First President was Mr. Susan Bandara. Mr. Sampath Wickramasinghe in 2016, Mr. Warran Dolton in 2018 and Mr. Rumzi Salie in 2019 held the position of President consecutively. Mr. Anton Rossairo, the Present President was appointed in 2020 at the AGM; Mr. Ameer Malik, Mr. Janaka Katugampola and Mr. Vidura Fernando were appointed as Vice Presidents; Mr. Supun Rupasinghe was appointed as the Secretary and Mr. Shahen Fernando as the Assistant Secretary. Mr. Jude Arjun Muththiah currently serves as the Treasurer and Mr. Alloy Fernando is the Assistant Treasurer of the Football Foundation of St. Peter’s College.
