The St. Peter’s College Old Boys Social Club (OBSC) in Melbourne, is the official body representing past students of St. Peter’s College (Colombo) now living in Melbourne Australia. The St. Peter’s OBSC is an active and vibrant community of past peterites young (and young at heart) and we welcome new members to be a part of a loyal team that spearheads several worthy causes and projects, while having fun, and building and rekindling friendships along the way.

The St Peters College Old Boys Association of New South Wales held its inaugural meeting on the 24th of February, 1991, when 16 Old Peterites joined together to form the Association.

Since then the Association has grown in strength and now has a membership of over 200 Old Peterites.

Being a Social Club, the main objective of the Association is to organise events in New South Wales where Old Peterites can meet and partake in Fellowship.

Over the years the Association has broadened its Objective to include Philanthropic activities: the main such activity is the Scholarship Fund that was established in 2008 to assist needy, deserving Peterites by paying their annual school fees.

The Association regularly participates in Sporting Activities such as rugby and cricket within the SriLankan community in NSW.

Back in May 2009 on the hot summer evening of the 29th, several expatriate old boys of St. Peter’s College, Colombo 04 met up for a friendly chat and this brotherhood meetup marked the inception of the St. Peter’s College Qatar OBA branch. Since its inception Qatar OBA branch has grown leaps and bounds and presently are 70 members strong. Following our Alma Mater’s footsteps, the Qatar OBA branch continues to support and bring Peterites reciting in Qatar together while supporting our Alma Mater as well as the Qatar expatriate community as a whole whenever the necessity arise.
