Our Sri Lanka National Champion who is currently training in Melbourne Australia has achieved outstanding success at the recently concluded Australian National Swimming Championships held in the Gold Coast.
Akalanka , became one of the top 10 fastest backstrokers in Australia.
His current rank is 9th in Australia with a time of 26.43.
He is Currently preparing for the Australian National trials for the world championships.
Akalanka was awarded the Peterite Gold in 2018.
